Music has always been an important part of Paul’s life.  It all started with parents who decided to teach their children to love music.  And that is what they did with music lessons and family concerts. Paul started music lessons on the piano at the age of 5.

As a young adult, Paul and his siblings organized a gospel group that performed locally in south eastern Pa.  After the family band disbanded, Paul had the privilege of joining Hilltop News, a local gospel bluegrass group.  In 1999, Paul left Hilltop News to sing with his wife and sons as The Good Family which disbanded in 2005.

Over the past few years Paul has kept busy as a worship leader at his church and has helped with organized music for a local ministry to the homeless.

With influences like Ricky Skaggs, Paul Baloche, Jeff & Sheri Easter, and Matt Redman; Paul enjoys music with rich harmony, strong rhythm, and active instrumental arrangements.

Mary has always enjoyed singing. So much so that her first stage was a hay wagon, and the audience…….the cows in the barn below.  Mary’s joy of singing she believes came from her dad who sang in a choir and was always singing or whistling in the barn. As she milked cows with her brother one of his favorite songs to sing was ‘On Top of Spaghetti’.  Mary would often sing along at the top of her lungs.  Oh it was so much fun, and gives Mary many good memories.  Mary enjoyed picking songs from a hymnal to sing in her 3rd grade Christian elementary school classroom.  She sang at every opportunity through elem. and middle school.  As a young teen Mary sang in the seasonal choir at her church with another brother.

When Mary and Paul decided to home school their children, she had opportunity to work with music in their home school group.

Now Mary loves to stand beside Paul as they sing to all venues of people.  Mary loves to sing praises to her heavenly Father, any time of the day mostly behind the wheel of her empty school bus.

Paul and Mary met in the early 80’s when Mary started attending the same church as Paul.  They became friends while attending the same small group, and Paul was very happy being “just friends”.  Over the course of a few years with both Paul and Mary attending another Bible study, they realized that they were becoming best friends.  In 1985 Paul and Mary began dating, and in March 1986 they were married.

Since before they were married, music has been a part of their lives.  From singing with their children to leading worship at church, from a local coffeehouse to a concert, Paul and Mary have been blessed with the privilege to minister to people in song.  Whatever the venue, Paul and Mary’s love for the Lord and for each other is evident in the songs they sing.  Along with their songs, they enjoy sharing stories of their children, grandchildren, and life.  Paul and Mary Good have been involved in Christian music ministry for over 25 years.

Their music style is Country with the influence of Bluegrass, Southern Gospel, and Contemporary Praise and Worship.  Located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, they have led worship and performed their music in churches from Tennessee to Maine.

They are available for concerts, coffeehouses, morning or evening worship services, or other events you might be planning.
